Robert “Scotty” Schenck 

Scotty Schenck is an associate at the firm. He brings his background in contract and business disputes, class action litigation, and criminal prosecutions to the firm’s complex appellate matters.

Prior to joining Brannock Berman & Seider, Scotty worked at a prominent Am Law 50 firm in Tampa. Before that, he served as a Deputy Solicitor General for the Florida Attorney General’s Office, handling high-profile cases of national and statewide importance, including at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. While working at the Solicitor General’s Office, Scotty presented eleven oral arguments in state appellate courts and federal district courts in complex litigation, including four arguments at the Florida Supreme Court. He began his legal career, upon graduation from Duke University School of Law, as a law clerk to Eleventh Circuit Judge Gerald B. Tjoflat, one of the longest serving federal judges in the history of the United States.

 

Scotty was born and raised in the Tampa Bay area. In his free time, Scotty enjoys weightlifting, cooking, astrophotography, and making music.
