Brannock Berman & Seider Attorneys Assume New Leadership Roles

Four Brannock Berman & Seider attorneys are taking on new leadership positions with prominent local and state organizations. Joe Eagleton and Ali Preston have assumed new positions within The Florida Bar’s Appellate Practice Section, while Ceci Berman and Sarah Roberge have taken on additional leadership responsibilities with legal organizations in the Tampa Bay area.

After serving as Chair of the Appellate Practice Section during the 2025-2026 Bar year, Joe has transitioned to the role of Immediate Past Chair.  Passing the Chair’s gavel to Elaine Walter, Joe will continue to serve alongside Chair-Elect Mary Walter, Treasurer Chance Lyman, and new Secretary Brandon Breslow as part of the Section’s leadership team for the 2026-2027 year.

Ali has advanced from Vice Chair to Chair of the Section’s Outreach Committee. In this role, she leads the Section’s efforts to increase awareness of the Section and appellate practice as a specialty area of law, including by fostering relationships with other Florida Bar sections and committees.  She also serves as a member of the Section’s Executive Council.

Ceci, a longtime member and current Master of the Bench, was elected Secretary of the J. Clifford Cheatwood American Inn of Court. Through regular meetings, members of the Inn build and strengthen professional relationships, share experiences and advice, discuss issues of professionalism and pressing legal developments, provide mentoring opportunities, and promote the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and civility.

An active member of the North Tampa Bar Association, Sarah has been appointed Chair of the Speakers Committee. She will continue to serve as Secretary and as a Member of the Board of Directors.
