Brannock Berman & Seider Welcomes Another New Associate

With a background in complex litigation and a resume stacked with oral arguments, Robert “Scotty” Schenck has joined Brannock Berman & Seider’s Tampa-based appellate team. 

Scotty comes to Brannock Berman & Seider after a stint at a prominent Am Law 50 law firm, having served before that as a Deputy Solicitor General for the Florida Attorney General’s Office.  He brings experience in complex and high-profile civil and criminal appeals, in both state and federal courts, including the Florida Supreme Court, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Scotty graduated with high honors from Duke University School of Law, where he was an Elvin R. Latty Scholarship recipient and the senior online editor for the Duke Law Journal. In law school, he gained experience as an intern for the Honorable Jorge Labarga of the Florida Supreme Court. Following graduation, Scotty clerked for the Honorable Gerald B. Tjoflat at the Eleventh Circuit.

A member of the Florida, North Carolina, New York, and D.C. bars, Scotty enjoys French and Korean cooking and astrophotography.
