Ceci Berman Presents at Annual Federal Bar Association Seminar

Brannock Berman & Seider shareholder Ceci Berman offered legal insights and shared practical advice at the signature civil seminar sponsored by the Federal Bar Association’s active Tampa Bay Chapter.

Ceci participated in a panel discussion that included a United States District Court Judge and another regular federal-court practitioner.  They discussed the development of jury instructions, how to use those jury instructions in pretrial practice, the charge conference, preservation of error, and how issues with jury instructions can set you up for success or failure on appeal. Ceci highlighted legal trends and principles governing jury instructions in federal court, along with logistical issues like how to stay organized when arguing these issues.
