Tom Seider Lectures at Christian D. Searcy Voir Dire Institute

Brannock Berman & Seider shareholder Tom Seider was a featured speaker at the Florida Justice Association’s Christian D. Searcy Voir Dire Institute, an educational program focused on strategies, tactics, and best practices for voir dire in personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Tom’s presentation covered key rules, cases, and practical principles governing voir dire. He also explored issues that can arise during the jury selection process, including procedural challenges and strategies for avoiding juror nondisclosure arguments after trial. 

Named after one of Florida’s most prominent trial lawyers, the Searcy Voir Dire Institute gives participants the opportunity to test jury-selection and trial-preparation strategies and learn from some of the state’s most experienced trial attorneys. The in-depth, interactive, multi-day program features lectures and workgroups focused on the art and science of communicating with juries. Collectively, the faculty have tried hundreds of cases to verdict and conducted voir dire in virtually every type of civil and criminal case.
