Brannock Berman & Seider Attorneys Selected for American Inns of Court

Brannock Berman & Seider associate Sarah Roberge has been selected as a member of the Herbert G. Goldburg-Ronald K. Cacciatore Criminal Law American Inn of Court, while the firm’s newest associate, Robert “Scotty” Schenck, has been invited to join the inaugural class of the Second District Appellate American Inn of Court.

The Goldburg-Cacciatore Inn has a rich history as one of only four criminal law Inns of Court in the country and the first to be chartered.  Founded in 2000 by its namesakes and achieving “Platinum” status in 2012, the Inn is dedicated to promoting professionalism, ethics, civility, and excellence in the legal profession and judiciary. It brings prosecutors, defense attorneys, and members of the judiciary together in a collegial setting to exchange ideas, receive education, share perspectives, and develop professional relationships and mentoring opportunities. With her background as an assistant public defender and experience in criminal appellate practice, Sarah is excited to join this prestigious Inn.

After receiving its charter in the spring, the Second District Appellate American Inn of Court began its inaugural year this August. As an appellate-focused Inn serving Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal, the organization brings judges, attorneys, and law students together to foster mentorship and collegiality while encouraging research, project development, and public speaking. The Inn’s goal is to create shared experiences and provide members with opportunities to develop engaging and educational programs while growing their knowledge and skills in appellate practice.
