Joe Eagleton Appointed to Standard Jury Instructions Committee

The Florida Supreme Court has appointed Brannock Humphries & Berman shareholder Joe Eagleton to a three-year term on the Standard Jury Instructions Committee for Contract and Business Cases.

This Supreme Court Committee is responsible for preparing standard jury instructions for use in contract and business cases, a task that requires it to continuously review statutes and judicial decisions to ensure that the standard instructions are up to date.  The Committee meets several times per year to review and amend the instructions.

Before joining the Committee as a full-fledged member, Joe served for four years as the reporter for the Committee, keeping a detailed accounting of the Committee’s meetings.  Joe’s initial term as a voting Committee member runs through June 30, 2025.
