Ceci Berman Featured Panelist at Bankruptcy Seminar

Brannock Berman & Seider shareholder Ceci Berman was a featured panelist at the 50th annual Alexander L. Paskay Memorial Bankruptcy Seminar, a premier continuing legal education event hosted by the American Bar Institute and Stetson University College of Law.

Ceci was part of a panel discussion that included a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Middle District of Florida, discussing the countdown to trial. The group took on the late stages of trial preparation, providing tips and advice for fellow lawyers about the final months of planning when a case is headed for trial. The discussion leaned heavily on practical advice and pointers based on real-world experience, with Ceci highlighting how to preserve issues for later appeal and how to stay focused on the big picture amidst the last-minute chaos.

Held at the Hotel Flor in downtown Tampa, the Paskay seminar is one of the premier annual events for bankruptcy lawyers and judges. It honors the lifetime achievements of its namesake, the late bankruptcy Judge Alexander L. Paskay.
